Chia Bread
Oven Temp: 350°F | Bake Time: 30-40 min
Part 1
1/2 CUP Brown Sugar
1/2 CUP Chia Seeds
1/2 CUP Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 TBSP Butter
1 TBSP Yeast
2 1/2 CUPS Water
Part 2
4-5 CUPS Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Combine
Part 1
in mixing bowl and let rest for 10 minutes.
Add
Part 2
, with the Hook Attachment, Knead the dough on Speed 2 until dough is moderately stiff and smooth.
Shape dough into a ball and place in greased bowl, (turn once). Cover let rise for 45-60 minutes.
Punch down dough, turn onto lightly floured surface. Cut in half and let rest for 10 minutes.
Shape 2 loaves, and let rest for 30 minutes covered.
Preheat oven to 350°
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
