Quick & Easy Biscuit Recipe.


  • 2 1/2 CUPS Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 CUP Butter or Shortening
  • 3/4 to 1 CUP Milk or Buttermilk

  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. In medium bowl stir together Flour, Baking Soda, and Sugar. Cut in Butter with pastry blender or fork.
  3. Stir in Milk until the dough leaves the side of the bowl.
  4. On a floured surfuce, knead dough together until smooth.
  5. Roll out dough with rolling pin to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 2 1/2 inch circle cutter.
  6. On a non-greased baking sheet place Biscuits about 1 inch apart.
  7. Bake in a 425° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
