Quick & Easy Biscuit Recipe.
2 1/2 CUPS Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
2 tsp Sugar
1/2 CUP Butter or Shortening
3/4 to 1 CUP Milk or Buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425°
In medium bowl stir together
Flour
,
Baking Soda
, and
Sugar
. Cut in
Butter
with pastry blender or fork.
Stir in
Milk
until the dough leaves the side of the bowl.
On a floured surfuce, knead dough together until smooth.
Roll out dough with rolling pin to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 2 1/2 inch circle cutter.
On a non-greased baking sheet place Biscuits about 1 inch apart.
Bake in a 425° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
